BetMGM has officially launched its second online casino in Pennsylvania after confirming its Borgata casino app has gone live in the Keystone State. It found a route into the Pennsylvania online casino market thanks to an agreement with Rivers Casino Philadelphia. The Borgata casino app follows in the footsteps of the BetMGM Casino, which went live in December.
Adam Greenblatt, CEO of BetMGM, said that there are “few casino brands as well-respected as Borgata.” He said this point was emphasized due to the “success we’ve seen with the Borgata Casino app in New Jersey.” Greenblatt stated that Pennsylvania “marks an important milestone for us” as the company brings the Borgata Casino brand to the first state outside of New Jersey. Greenblatt added that the company is “confident that Pennsylvania players will enjoy the digital betting experience” of what he describes as “Atlantic City’s premier casino.”
The Borgata Casino app contains over 150 slots, live dealer games, and table games, including MGM Grand Millions and Premium Blackjack Pro. Additionally, players will discover a progressive jackpot, which is linked to slot offerings and available to users in Pennsylvania, starting at $300,000. Once players have completed the registration process, they will receive a 100% welcome deposit match up to $1,000 and $20 in free play.
BetMGM is also planning to integrate its MGM Resorts’ M Life Rewards program. Borgata customers in the Keystone State will have the option of redeeming their gameplay for accommodations at MGM Resorts properties across the country. These include the Borgata in New Jersey, the MGM National Harbor in Maryland, MGM Grand in Las Vegas, and the Bellagio.
The casino app is available to download for both Android and iOS devices, in addition to being available on a desktop.
This is BetMGM’s second venture into the Pennsylvania iGaming market, following its first casino, which went live in the state on December 4th. Like the Borgata Casino app, BetMGM offers roulette, blackjack, video poker, progressive jackpots, and slot tournaments. The company also revealed upon the launch of its online casino that it would be providing over 140 options, including progressive jackpots exclusive to the state.
Greenblatt said that the company would be “delivering the widest range of content available in the state upon the launch of its first casino in Pennsylvania.” He added that in conjunction with the MGM Resorts and its M Life Rewards program, BetMGM would “provide players with a truly unique entertainment experience.”
